Dezireé Cubero, Assoc. AIA

SCAD and FAMU alumna, Dezireé’s passion for architecture started as a youth, working on houses with her grandfather. That fondness extended to at home projects, using Microsoft Paint (think early 2000s) as a tool to “free hand” axons and perspectives of room & furniture configurations. Unbeknownst to her, this affection for architecture and the built environment turned into an academic, and professional career. The experience garnered as a Graduate Research Assistant, and Adjunct Assistant for Design Technology courses propelled her community interests, and introduced her to the vision and goals at BAM.

Dezireé is presently an Architectural Designer, and aspiring Architect at a local firm in Orlando. Similar to architecture, graphic design is another medium she uses to tell stories. The role as Director of Marketing gives her the opportunity to explore and improve the interactivity within design for meaningful communication between users and design technologies.
